What the day looks like
Some rivers you fish, and some rivers you live. The Limay is both.
A private day floating down one of the most emblematic rivers in Patagonia, with Hugo on board — a local guide who knows every stretch by heart — and every detail taken care of. All you bring is the appetite for it.
Fishing is mostly done from the boat, with wading stops in chosen sections when the day calls for it. Fly or spinning — the two techniques this river accepts. And as you float, everything changes: the landscape, the current, the strategy. Every stretch is a fresh chance at browns, brook trout and rainbows.
Booked in advance, with a meeting time set at the departure point. The river doesn’t forgive improvisation: that’s why every float is planned before we push off.
Who it’s for
Anglers who enjoy the run downriver, reading the water and the openness of the steppe.
Who it’s NOT for
Anyone who prefers lakes or has reduced mobility (the river involves wading and uneven banks).
A note from Hugo: on the Limay the boat is part of the technique. You cast, we position; if that works, the day works.

Capacity: a strict maximum of 2 anglers per boat.

Large groups
We arrange 2 or more boats. Ask about availability and price.
Weather policy
In wind, rain or a Prefecture alert for the planned water, we move the day or change water during the trip. The deposit is non-refundable.
