What the day looks like
A full day on the Alicurá reservoir. This is technical water: the fish are selective and they don’t forgive a rushed presentation.
The margin for error here is smaller than on the lake. The read has to be precise and the fly has to land right the first time.

Experienced anglers looking for a technical challenge.
Who it’s NOT for
Absolute beginners who have never held a rod.
A note from Hugo: on Alicurá the fish sees you before you see it. If the first presentation isn’t good, there is no second.
Trip details
Capacity: recommended for 1–2 anglers; maximum 3 people.
With 3–4 people the trip keeps normal fishing at a more relaxed, sightseeing pace compared with a two-angler day.

Large groups
For more than 3 people we arrange 2 or more boats (a family of six goes in two boats). Ask about availability and price.
Weather policy
In wind, rain or a Prefecture alert for the planned water, we move the day or change water during the trip. The deposit is non-refundable.
