About Us
Puyenes is a small team of licensed guides. We fish Falkner, Espejo, Traful, Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi; we also float the Limay River and run the Alicurá reservoir. It was founded and is led by Hugo, with 21 years reading these waters and more than 1,500 guided trips.
Puyenes is not a travel agency. It is a craft. Our responsibility goes beyond finding fish: it is the safety of everyone who steps into the boat, the ethics of fishing and the conservation of the environment.
The three environments we work in

Hugo “Colo” Dezurko
More than 21 years of experience
For more than two decades he has fished fresh and salt water. He has caught King (Chinook) salmon, dorado in northern Argentina and a range of species in the Caribbean and the Argentine Sea.

Patagonian experience
SALMONID SPECIALIST
In Patagonia he specialised in rainbow, brown and brook trout, as well as landlocked salmon. Each environment calls for observation, technique and a different way of reading the water.

How he fishes
TECHNIQUE, RESPECT AND CONSERVATION
For him, fishing is far more than landing a fish. It is learning to read the river, understanding its cycles and enjoying every moment with respect for the species and the environment that protects them.

Nature photography
THE STORIES BEHIND EVERY IMAGE
He is also a portrait and nature photographer. The camera lets him keep the essence of each trip: the landscapes, the wildlife and the people who share their story beside the water.
- Lake Nahuel Huapi — half-day and full-day trips
- Limay River — technical float trips
- Alicurá reservoir — demanding water, for experienced anglers
We know every zone, every current and every window of time when the trout decide to feed.
How we work
- Safety first. We comply with every safety regulation of the Argentine Naval Prefecture and with rescue protocols.
- Honesty. If the water is tough, we say so before you step into the boat.
- Conservation. The fish is the heritage. Careful catch and release.
The team
The team also includes licensed guides who share the same way of understanding the water: the same reading of conditions, the same safety criteria and the same release policy. Every trip is coordinated with Hugo, who still guides and plans each day on the water.
On the water they call him «Colo». Licence P227 and 21 years of the craft carry his full name: Hugo Raúl Dezurko.

And what else is there to say? Yes… Thank you, God, I have everything I need to live forever in peace and abundant happiness. ><)))°>
Genesis 1:31
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.”
